Want of Sin

Want of Sin is a five-piece post-black metal outfit hailing from the most depressing city on Earth, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Founded in 2019 they released their first EP Demo Echoes of Resentment blending black metal, post-rock, and shoegaze influences. Following a 2020 lineup change featuring bassist Benjamin Meredith, first guitarist Mark Curda, second guitarist Xeion Cramer, drummer Adam Troyer, and vocalist Bliss Rios, a new mix of heretical metal was born. With new members, a range of new influences infiltrated and bolstered the sound, forming the basis for the band’s forthcoming album, Hydrophobic. Ever dismal, Want of Sin aims to bring the fear of God to their captive audience.
