Salem Indie is both a traditional and tattoo artist situated in Milwaukee, WI. With a background in writing, sculpture, and design, & an education in printmaking and illustration, they have a diverse background that contributes to their work today.
Salem’s main areas of focus are personal identity & surrealism in relation to the human psyche and animal welfare in conjunction to the natural world.

My art showcases the uncanny beauty of the unknown, with fragments of nature tenderly melded together to form a single unified piece. Found in unsuspecting corners of the woods, my artistic mediums are approached with deep intrigue regarding their story, and I cultivate a figure and correlating personality through clay, pieces of earth, and lots of imagination. I find great inspiration in the art of preserving, also evident in my resin encased pieces and powerful repurposing of simple objects. I try to emulate love within all of my pieces, with specific attention to myself, the earth, and those that inhabit it.
Zinta Jauntirans-Vogel carves and prints linocuts with love in Milwaukee, WI. They focus on themes of kitsch and queer identity. They graduated with a BFA in Studio Art from UWM in 2022.
