The sounds of alexalone will usher you into warm, fuzzy, lonely spaces, then shock you alive with pulsing energy. But, alexalone’s first full length album, ALEXALONEWORLD, wasn’t merely about the sound, it was an exercise in world building, and a portrait of the artist cradling and nurturing their emotions as they create, navigating labyrinths of pain as they search for exits, and hoping for a haven where they can survey the damage and regroup.
On the band’s sweeping sophomore album, ALEXALONE TECHNICAL RESEARCH, alexalone expands their sound with jarring and intricate rhythms, while at the same time introducing incredibly lush shoegaze soundscapes that are at times both dissonant and cohesive. Standouts such as “ALL I NEED” and “FULL BODY LEARNING,” highlight just how powerful the band’s music is – a beautifully chaotic world that is all-encompassing and undeniably mesmerizing.

Large Print’s energetic, dynamic, and at times scrappy songwriting; along with production stylings inspired by groups such as Swirlies, Duster, and Sonic Youth give the group an ever changing sound made for active listening. Formed in early 2018, Large Print lives by the goal of continued collaboration, and hands-on production.
Large Print has been working tirelessly since 2019 to independently write, record, and share demo material. During 2020 they released a series of short songs and videos every week of the year via Instagram. The upcoming tape release of their double EP “In the Clouds” and “In the Dark” represents the culmination of that work with fully fleshed out versions of songs along with previously unreleased material.
