CHNNLL

(Chicago )

CHNNLL (pronounced channel) is a four-piece experimental pop band based in Chicago, IL and is lead by multi-instrumentalist, Chris Davidson. Chris takes inspiration from the likes of St. Vincent, Radiohead, Nirvana, David Bowie, Mac Miller and Run the Jewels.

Chris moved to New York City in 2009 to pursue a career as a jazz drummer and composer. While attending The New School For Jazz and Contemporary Music, Chris had the pleasure of studying with Reggie Workman (John Coltrane, Art Blakey, Miles Davis) Mark Guiliana (David Bowie) and Billy Martin (Medeski Martin and Wood).
While Chris’s appreciation for jazz is still strong, he has grown into a new musical direction. He is no longer behind the drums on the stage, but up front singing, switching between keyboards and guitar, reincarnated as front man CHNNLL.

Endless Era

(Milwaukee)

Milwuakee's own Endless Era, brings an indie-pop sound reminiscent of Walk The Moon, The 1975, and LANY. Combining electronic drums, synthesizers, and electric guitar, Endless Era's music is full of pop sensibilities gushing with 80's nostalgia. Their music cuts to the heart of life with songs about love, loss, and redemption.

Man Random

(Milwaukee)

Man Random is a Milwaukee band that “pairs hard emo riffs with the cheeky spirit of classic Lookout! Records acts” (according to The Shepherd Express). Members Steven Baird, Ben Meredith, Nathan Otto, and Matt Schmus work tightly together to bring creativity and raw energy to their sound. They’ve put out two EPs, including the newly released “Brighten Up”, which Allen Halas of Breaking & Entering calls “A truly exceptional Midwestern pop record”

Paper Holland

(Milwaukee)
Genre: Indie Rock

Drawing from the pop sensibility of acts like Death Cab For Cutie, the sparkling guitars of The Cure and the mild experimentalism of Tame Impala, Paper Holland create rhythmic and driving music with elegant horn arrangements, memorable hooks and skillful musicianship.
