Open Call: Beet Street Music Video Project
For full instructions:
Last year we had our first music video showcase premiere during our annual fall harvest street festival, Beet Street, and it was a lot of fun. We were able to showcase a number of old and new music videos by a number of Milwaukee-based artists and filmmakers. The series really highlighted a variety of talent and taste and we are excited to continue to bring together multimedia programming.
This year, we are going to try things a little bit differently. As the uncertainty of the C-19 pandemic lingers, we have been brainstorming ways we can use this time to bring people together to create something for the future. The idea is to connect musicians with filmmakers and interested participants to make a music video with archives and the resources they have on hand.
This is an open + collaborative project open for all experience levels.
There are many resources to learn from.
