DESCRIPTION:Cactus Club is pleased to announce an open-call for participants in our Beet Street Music Video Showcase. Beet Street is a collaborative block party celebrating multimedia art in Milwaukee with seasonal foods, drinks, community organizations, artisan vendors, multigenre music, film and more. This year's festival is Saturday, October 9th 2021 in Bay View between Cactus Club, Goodkind and Palomino. We are inviting artists and filmmakers of all experience levels to share their music videos and music-related film projects. Youth are especially encouraged to participate. Filmmakers do not need to be based in Milwaukee, but should have some ties to the city and/or club. The showcase will premiere at Cactus Club from noon-5p during the festival. <div></div> <div>Please make video submissions through this short form [link]. We invite makers of all genres and disciplines to submit videos.
