DESCRIPTION:<p dir="ltr">In celebration of 7 years as a band, and in partnership with Riverwest FemFest, Ruth B8r Ginsburg presents:</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>A Parade for Creative Dissent - Fundraiser for Reproductive Freedom</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Milwaukee’s musical ogdoad, Ruth B8r Ginsburg, formed in 2015. A radical response to the lack of visibility that femme musicians have in Milwaukee's music scene. This group speaks truth to power, exemplifying collaboration with soul-born lyrics that seek to highlight and brighten these dark times. Every member of this organization is a force to be reckoned with and a heart-led activist in their own right. The combination of their voices is undeniable and has inspired countless tears and cheers over the past seven years.</p> <p dir="ltr">We will meet, dressed to impress, in South Shore Park at 12pm on Saturday, June 25th and parade our way to Cactus Club where there will be a fundraiser for Reproductive Freedom from 1-4pm. This includes a makers market, various organizations linked to reproductive freedom tabling, food truck, speakers and an hour long musical performance by Ruth B8r Ginsburg. (speakers and additional musical guests to be announced soon)</p> <p dir="ltr">Door money will  be donated to local organizations that exemplify the fight for reproductive freedom.</p> <p dir="ltr">We will not stop fighting for ourselves and each other. This event is part of that fight. The goal of this event is to inspire and inform. Right now people need hope and inspiration. We would like to meet these needs. We need to take care of each other because the people in power won’t. We should not allow them to cater to the fantasies of a delusional few at the expense of our safety, health, and civil freedoms.</p> <p dir="ltr">“My dissenting opinions, like my briefs, are meant to persuade.
