DESCRIPTION:🐳 🍄 Learn how to grow mushrooms using recycled materials you probably already have around the house! Turn food scraps & yard waste into a living, edible sculptures. All materials will be provided, including shiitake and oyster mushroom cultures, substrates, containers, and basic sanitation equipment! Bring your own vessel to fill or use ours! This workshop is taught by multi-disciplinary artist Kate Klingbeil and will begin with a short lecture on fungi cultivation and its experimental applications, followed by a hands-on workshop where we will build take-home mushroom kits. Registration encouraged and drop-ins are welcome. 12-2pm $10-20 sliding scale for workshop All ages DJ Substrate on the decks 12-4pm spinning an earthy selection of interconnected music from all over the globe  😎 🌏
