Night time people getting freaky to late night drums is an old thing. Ya know like it’s prolly been around about as long as people have. A ritual composed of ancient elements: beats and bodies and rhythms and visions and duration. It doesn’t need us and it’ll be here for longer than any of our petty constructions, this collaborative, joyous movement of things.

Someone wise said turntables are in essence bass machines. Well, so are subwoofers. Put em together and wuuh-what has happened to this ancient ritual? Old elements collide in new ways, and powered by unprecedented magics they become different than they were, just like always. Even the dance is inside the dance of all things, oh sure ya know.

11pm-1am: Asher Gray and Greyhound have assembled crates of printed vibrations, vinyl spells that move through you even though you’re inside them. Dancing back to back or juking along to the grooves of their wax, discovering relations that break them out of themselves and into each other: ashergræyhound. All these individual units are already multiple; you can trust this Language Model.

1am-2am: as usual, tommy will be crawling around the decks to reassemble your remnants – limbs and empty cavities and hips – into the beautiful monsters they only are together, just slightly different from before. Trying to be found in psychedelic sound? You can trust this Language Model.

Parties like Fresh 2 Death, Le Freak, Club Ritual, and Funky Fruit have been a staple for the electronic music community in the city and abroad. His passion for underground music and culture fuels his energetic performances bringing people together from all walks of life on one dance floor.

Greyhound

(Milwaukee, WI)

Greyhound is the dance floor music project of Dylan Mentzer. A Milwaukee-based DJ and producer, Greyhound has been making a name for himself in the greater Midwest techno community since 2017. Growing up on Chicago house and Detroit techno greatly influenced his sound. A love of UK bassline and Grime additionally informs his approach to producing. In 2021, Greyhound was added as a resident DJ at Milwaukee’s Club Ritual, an underground monthly founded in 2016. In 2022, Greyhound partnered with Chicago DJ Junior Kurtis to form the record label Pulaski Recreational Unit.

Language Models

(Concord, NH)
