Frequently Asked Questions

What is your policy regarding COVID 19?

Updated Aug 2022 We do not have a proof of vaccination policy. Exceptions to this will be highlighted on our event listing, social media and ticket links as follows:

Notice: Proof of vaccination is required for entry into events. Please show a valid vaccination card, clear photo of card, clear photocopy of card, or your state immunization registry which can be accessed online. Negative tests are not accepted.

How can I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased in advance via our website. We use Venue Pilot as our ticketing service. SV Presents shows are ticketed by Etix. Tickets can also be purchased in-person at the advertised door time (when available).

Where do I pick up tickets?

There are no physical tickets. Your ticket confirmation will be emailed to you. Your name and ticket order will be on our will call list. Our door/box office staff will be able to assist you upon arrival.

What is your refund policy?

Sales are final unless an event is canceled or rescheduled due to extenuating circumstances such as tour cancellations, performing artist illness or COVID exposure, etc.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted at the bar. Tickets can be purchased digitally at any time including day-of-show. On-site tickets are available by cash only. There is an ATM located on-site with a $2 fee.

Do your events have assigned seating or is it general admission?

All shows at Cactus Club are general admission (without assigned seating). The vast majority of shows are without seating, though accommodations may be requested. Film screenings are seated with various seating options: bench, chairs with and without armrests.

How do you address accessibility concerns at the club?

Unfortunately, Cactus Club is not ADA compliant at this time. We are fundraising for a two-phase accessibility initiative to add a wheelchair ramp to the front door and accessible bathrooms. More information on our accessibility initiative will be published soon.

Guests who require accommodations, mobility-related or otherwise, should reach out to the club in advance by phone during open hours or email kelsey@cactusclubmilwaukee.com.

Signs will be posted when strobe lights and / or fog / hazers are used in the live room. The volume of shows ranges drastically by artists and we encourage folks with sound sensitivities to bring protective gear. We do sell basic earplugs behind the bar and at the sound booth for $1.

We presently do not have deaf/hard of hearing accommodations available, however, we are working to improve this in the immediate future.

What type of restrooms are available?

The club has 2 restrooms available to guests, and 1 available to artists in the green room. All restrooms are gender neutral. For the public, there is one single-stall private restroom and one with a urinal and stalled toilet.

What are the age requirements to attend an event?

Age restrictions for all events are listed on our website. We are licensed as a Center for Performing Arts and are able to host all-ages events as long as the timing complies with the City of Milwaukee curfew. Parents/guardians may bring minors to 18+ and 21+ events.

What do I need to enter the club?
