Cell

(Oklahoma City)
Genre: Metal

CELL, Oklahoma City’s rising metal band, and producer Connor Haines (Mugshot, No Cure, Fox Lake, BLEAK) have painstakingly worked on crafting their latest single: Mirrors Of My Damnation. This visceral embodiment of sonic fury pummels the listener with a host of daunting, shrill vocal sections — all while contrasted by cinderblock-like guitar riffs that audibly crush. The band’s latest record, The Unbearable Form, keyed in on what the bands sound would compile to become for the foreseeable future. Since releasing their latest track, the band has stated that their intent on writing this song was to reflect on the macabre reality of loss and personal death.

CELL is an Oklahoma metal band whose very presence is intimidating. Founded in 2021, the band formed in Oklahoma City, OK and Denver, CO with members comprised from Omen and Mouth for War. The band released their first demo, entitled “Failed By The Grace of Gods Hands” to give the world a little taste of what was soon to come. Shortly after, they introduced their debut EP “Sadistic Sounds of Suffering” and there’s only 3 words to explain said record: relentless, straightforward, and hateful. Their unique song structures and dark-themes are remnant of early Whitechapel and Slipknot.

As they continue to stay active on the road, there is only one thing to say about the group itself: they’re pissed off, and there’s no stopping them.
