E.T.

E.T. is a queer synthpunk duo comprised of E Regardless (no pronouns/they) and TK (they/she) E.T. is a multi-genre music project, inspired by queercore, darkwave, 90s club music, and peace punk. Our music is a product of our collective experiences and identities. 1/2 of us is a working class, white, genderqueer butch femme rooted in the Midwest, working to build networks that address assault and harm through mutual aid. 1/2 of us is an anxious, mixed (xicanx/Indigenous/white) tomboi theylien, whose creative and activist endeavors are informed by and in response to personal experience with non-normative mental health and internalized/institutionalized oppression. As a band (lyrically, in the shows we play, etc) and in our daily lives (as activists, organizers, etc), we try our best to challenge abuse & trauma, homophobia & transphobia, fascism, settler colonialism, and white supremacy, knowing we can always do better.
