Gabrielle Hope is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from Tennessee, now based in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, who has introduced her generation to traditional Appalachian folk music through TikTok. Rooted in shape note singing and church choirs, she blends timeless traditions with her own nature-inspired originals, gaining millions of views for her haunting voice and banjo-driven performances. Drawing on influences like Jean Ritchie, Connie Converse, and Adrianne Lenker, Hope’s songs balance intimacy, playfulness, and deep emotion. Recently signed to Darkroom Records, she is preparing her debut EP while touring with Willie Watson and Waylon Wyatt this fall.
