Hattie Grimm

As an artist, Hattie Grimm makes objects that teach her about herself and her relationship to the world. It feels like getting closer to the aliveness of everything. As an educator, she creates rituals to share this aliveness with others and remind people it is a part of them too. Grimm taught art to middle and high school students for four years in the Milwaukee area and has led art workshops in venues across the state, including the Museum of Wisconsin Art, the Chazen Museum of Art, and the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
