KASE

KASE is Jamie Breiwick (trumpet), John Christensen on (acoustic bass), and Jordan Lee (turntables and electronics). KASE invents textural soundscapes – incorporating live beats, turntablism, electronic elements, free improvisation and extended forms into the music that is crafted and created spontaneously. References for this project run the gamut from the contemporary mainstream to the avant garde to the classic… mixing jazz & hiphop – different branches of the same tree. That said, KASE has created something new and unexpected with this band. You are invited to join them on that journey.
