Names Divine

Wisconsin-based musician Kendra Amalie’s mastery of 12-string acoustic guitar and brooding songwriting style gelled into a uniquely dark style as she moved from working with bands to releasing solo material. Her 2019 solo debut Intuition saw Amalie’s technically deft take on rural guitar combined with her cosmic rock impulses. Amalie was born to a musical household, her mother worked as a country singer while she was growing up. While stationed in Chicago, Amalie started her band Names Divine in 2009.
