Winding together compositions that are fluid, dynamic and new, the Chicago-based trio STANDER forges their eclectic inspirations with a deep emotional core. Collapsing, their 2nd LP on The Garrote, finds stander push deep into vocal/lyrical territory this time, with lead vocals by Mike Boyd (guitar) and guest vocals by Erin Dawson (Genital Shame), Dylan Walker (Full of Hell) and John Kerr (Pyrithe).
