Born and raised in the church on the Northside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Marcus Mitchell, bka Sunny James, relocated to Jackson, Tennessee, at the age of 18. In Jackson he adapted roots that would empower his sound. Over the years he has sang background for Lisa McClendon and Shea Norman, he currently wrote and appeared as a vocalist on Wyclef Jean Carnival III: The Fall and Rise of a Refugee. Major strides are expected in this young artist career.
