Lee Judilla

All Ages
Lee Judilla / Midwest Cyborg (they/he) is a Filipino-American, queer multimedia artist, arts educator, and androgynoid based in Milwaukee, WI. In following the whims of their voracious curiosity, Lee finds themselves caught in the waves and mythos of personal and collective histories at all intersections of their being. Using dreams, desire, and fantasy as mechanistic vehicles to drive creative momentum, Lee processes their work through two matrices that are in an ever-evolving, symbiotic dialogue with one another. As Midwest Cyborg, they interplay with photography, collage, writing/poetry, design, film, costume and other mediums. Operating under HALSYON INDUSTRIES, they root themselves in the work of community organizing, arts education and exchange, curation and self-publishing for the underrepresented; devoted to cooking for and nourishing individuals in the process. In channeling and synthesizing these two personas, Lee transfigures their most intimate wishes for health, justice, and safety into storytelling and action.
