AUTOMatic Album Release w/Vincent VanGREAT, El Shareef, DJ Optimist

(Milwaukee, WI)

On the heels of their successful EP ARISING (Oct. ‘15) and emcee APRIME’s solo debut AUTOMatic Presents 3099 (Apr. ’16) released under the name 3099, long time smooth hip-hop group AUTOMatic is pleased to officially announce the release of their 4th studio album – Marathon – on Friday, November 11th. This will be their 1st full length album since 2012’s Dope Folks Records release Art Imitates Life.

Marathon is an album that will continue the group’s legacy as torchbearers for Soul/Jazz sample-based hip-hop while touching on themes and topics that are both timely and universal. With the reemergence of De La Soul and the excitement created by the rumors of a new A Tribe Called Quest album (two of the biggest influences on AUTOMatic as noted in their break out single “Higher” from 2010’s critically acclaimed Transistor) the timing for a new album by APRIME and Trellmatic couldn’t be more perfect.
