Cactus Book Club: “Sky Full of Elephants” by Cebo Campbell
We’re delighted to have Sun Seekers Mke lead our CBC discussion on Wednesday, March 4th at 5:30pm. This month we’re reading Sky Full of Elephants by Cebo Campbell. “In this bold and imaginative, truly powerful and riveting story set in a world where white people no longer exist, college professor Charlie Brunton receives a call from his estranged daughter Sidney, setting off a chain of events as they journey across a truly “post-racial” America in search of answers. In a world without white people, what does it mean to be Black?”

“Sun Seeker is a Black anti-carceral/prison abolitionist collective in Milwaukee, Wisconsin organizing to develop the infrastructure for safety and security without the cops. We do this by supporting the growth and education of our communities’ skill to care, defend and survive the Fascist state!”
