Her current book, Holy Food: How Cults, Communes, and Religious Movements Influenced What We Eat—An American History (September 2023), has been featured in the New York Times, Milk Street Radio, Atlas Obscura, KCRW’s Good Food, Coast-to-Coast AM, and many more. As editor and publisher, she has guided over 100 non-fiction books from concept to publication. Sure, she has awards, but she is most known for riding around town in the Wienermobile with Padma Lakshmi on the hottest day in July of 2019 for “Taste the Nation.”
