Join In the Clouds artist resident Jah Hines for a workshop on up-cycling and sustainable art-making! Participants will learn about the practice of “Cyanotypes” – also known as Sun-Printing, and leave with a custom creation. Bring a jacket, t-shirt, tote bag, or any piece of fabric that you would like to bring new life to.

Sliding scale entry fee $10-20

Javonna “JAH” Hines (they/she) is a Black, queer, and non-binary multi-hyphenate artist. They are a visionary creative force, weaving together photography, film, poetry, and songwriting to craft immersive experiences. With roots in community organizing, arts education, food justice, and earth stewardship, Jah’s holistic approach to creativity nurtures the intersections of art, spirituality, and social change. As a neurodivergent, clinical massage therapist and Kundalini yoga instructor, she embodies the mantra of “attitude of gratitude,” using art to illuminate pathways to healing, growth, and collective transformation.
