Lone Rock Bride

(Minneapolis, MN)
Genre: Country

Lone Rock Bride is a Minneapolis band led by singer-songwriter Emma Fisher, fresh off the release of their debut album, Rosette. Taking inspiration from country luminaries spanning from Loretta to Lucinda, their music marries narrative-driven songwriting to a wall of alt-country sound, pairing rock rhythms with soaring fiddles and steel guitar twang. With “a talent for memorable melodies and well-crafted lyrics” (MPR), Fisher’s songs tell the stories of poets, pioneers, drifters, and dreamers.

Ladybird

(Milwaukee, WI)
Genre: Americana

The saying goes that on every block in the Midwest, there’s one bar and one church. If you tie one on too tight, you don’t have far to go to find a place that’s supposed to forgive you for all your sinning. The songs of Milwaukee-based Ladybird live somewhere on that block—on the long, cold walk between the high times at the tavern with your friends and the shadow of the steeple that reminds you of tomorrow’s responsibilities and yesterday’s mistakes. The band’s second full length album, Clementine, is due on October 10.

Natalie Sue & The Steed

Genre: Alt-Country, Country-Rock

Born under Milwaukee’s summer sun, Natalie Sue and The Steed bring a dreamy twist to country music. Fronted by songwriter and vocalist Natalie Sue, the band blends poetic romance with newfangled twang and classic rock motion.

Listen to their new single “Love Burns Hot” on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms. Their EP “Patchouli and Tobacco” releases everywhere August 21st.
