Music Go Round and Volta Records return with another installment of our all ages show series. With a secondary goal of bridging the gap and fostering relationships between Milwaukee and scenes in other midwestern cities, this evening’s lineup focuses on the more expansive and ambient side of things, featuring two beloved locals alongside a midwest act’s first Milwaukee appearance in over a decade.

Good Night & Good Morning

(Austin / Detroit / Milwaukee)
Genre: Art-Rock, Drone, Electronic, Pop
Formed in 2007, Good Night & Good Morning spent five years touring the DIY circuit with their ambient-tinged take on 90s slowcore, playing alongside acts like Low, Sharon Van Etten, and The Appleseed Cast. Their self titled EP in 2009 was followed by their debut full length Narrowing Type in 2012, the latter of which was reissued in 2023. This show marks their first performance in Milwaukee in over a decade.

Haunter

Genre: Indie Rock

Haunter is a long standing progressive indie rock band from Milwaukee that makes dreary pop songs featuring interesting rhythms and poignant lyrics. Though their influences span all genres, their sound can be described as a blend of Slowcore, Shoegaze, and Americana.
