LIFER was recorded and mixed by Alex Meylink at Stillwave Studios in Milwaukee during the winter of 2021/2022. We kept working on it and changing things pretty much til the week before it came out.
Mastered by Erik Atwell (he also played some shaker on “Desk Drawer”.

Glitzy

Born out of Craigslist ads, Reddit posts, and a cubicle farm friendship, Glitzy was formed with influences as eclectic as their members. The five-piece band started jamming in a cramped 8 foot by 10 foot closet in the heart of Milwaukee’s Riverwest during the summer of 2022 and hasn’t stopped making music since. Their sound (consisting of two guitars, drums, bass, and synth) is an amalgamation of their influences, resulting in a shoegaze-y, midwest emo-like, new-wave type of melodic indie rock.
