Life After 5 is a pop punk group that was formed in the south suburbs of Chicago around 2016. While the music originally was more in the vein of a more traditional punk sound, the writing over the years became more complex and developed into more of a Neo-Pop Punk sound. Thus in 2022, we tracked our first EP “Life After 5 and the Lightning Bolt Shoes” and released in March of 2023. Since then we have worked to bring our studio sound to the stage.

The band consists of Jimmy Poynton (Lead Singer), Dave Williams (Drummer), Nick Radice (Rhythm Guitar), Zachary Wood (lead guitar) and Dave Bechdolt (bass).
