Show Lineup

Silas Short

(Chicago, Illinois)
Genre: Soul

Silas Short is a Chicago-based singer and musician who produces his own music, synthesizing influences from soul and classic R&B. Silas Short’s route to releasing music was nothing less than difficult, including shattering a bone in his left hand at age 19 while delivering pizzas, subsequently developing his own self-described “Liquid-Style” guitar playing. Short’s debut EP “Drawing” released last year via Stones Throw Records.

NileXNile

(Milwaukee, WI)
Genre: Hip-Hop

NilexNile, an up-and-coming Milwaukee rapper, had a breakout 2022 that included a steady stream of great music videos, appearances at pretty much every major summer festival in the city, some shows out of state, a support slot with Pusha T, and a growing awareness from listeners both locally and far beyond. He performed at SXSW this past March and very recently had hometown headlining show at The Cactus Club.

Troy Tyler

(Milwaukee, WI)
Genre: Hip-Hop

Troy Tyler, a native of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, always had a love for singing. He started around the house and admits he wasn’t that good. He would always sing for his parents who would tell him the truth about his voice; it wasn’t great. He kept at it singing every chance he got. He would sing with his father, a musician in his own right, and take the high notes while his father took the lower ones. Later on, Troy took vocal lessons that he said: “really helped me with breathing and voice control.”

Since the end of last year, Troy has been hard at work on creating more than ever before. Focusing on song structure and writing he’s managed to turn his experiences into something that a wide range of people can relate to.

Troy Tyler’s 90’s R&B was named one of Milwaukee’s top 10 songs of 2017, he was nominated for 5 88Nine Music Awards and he has no intent on slowing down. Troy has been hard at work ever since dropping his widely popular “Seconds of Forever” on July 27, 2018.
