Count yourself lucky, because hundreds of talented filmmakers from all over the globe have joined their (acrylic-laden) hands up to create a funny, feminine, and frequently demented collection of animated shorts for YOUR viewing pleasure. Collected and assembled by the indie animation institution that is HELLAVISION TELEVISION and curated by Maddie Brewer and MallBat, this sublime picture show is guaranteed to ensnare the senses.

Proceeds form this event will be donated to Trans Lifeline.

Trans Lifeline is a grassroots hotline and microgrants 501(c)(3) non-profit organization offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis – for the trans community, by the trans community. Trans Lifeline is a trans-led organization that connects trans people to the community, support, and resources we need to survive and thrive.

Hellavision Television Network

is an ongoing community animation project.The core of the project is participatory animation anthology established in Minneapolis, MN in 2017.

Twice a year we put out a call for submissions and artists have 5 weeks to complete a :10-2:00 short. It’s non-curated, giving artists an opportunity to participate in a screening regardless of skill level. What you get is a 40 min – 90 min screening of experimental animation.

We believe in creation for the sake of creation. We value providing an accessible platform where artists can make and screen their work with peers. We find this experience essential to nurturing a strong and vibrant animation community.

The world is ending, so we might as well create something together.
