4:00 – 4:45 – “Super Saw Techniques”
[45 MINS]

5:00 – 5:45 – “Rhythm Roulette”
[45 MINS]
demonstration led by Martin Defatte, followed by attendees.
Similar to the Mass Appeal “Rhythm Roulette” challenge, we will be asking the group to produce a beat by using the same three samples, chosen by one member. The results should offer us a unique perspective into the musical minds of other members of the group.
Here are 5 samples:

You have until the meet-up to build something with it. It could simply be an instrument, or it could be a full composition. Feel free to use any additional Ableton instruments to flesh out the composition.

5:45 – 6:15 (time-permitting) – Show Your Project
Group members may present their Live projects and get feedback from the group. If there are a lot of presenters, we should keep these short. Make sure to sign-up when you get to the meet-up, and we will go in that order until we run out of names, or until the club kicks us out of the back room.
————————————-
6:15 – ? – Drinks and socializing in the bar. Stick around for the live show. There will be an early show from 6-10 and a late show afterward. Busy day at the club.
If anyone needs to eat before or after the event, check out Palomino (next door). They can cater to meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans alike. A quick jaunt up the street will lead you to Vanguard, Honey Pie, and a few other Bay View restaurants.
