Jeanette Martín

Jeanette Martín is a queer chicana community-based artist and cultural worker. They were born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by parents who immigrated as economic refugees. They started organizing at the young age of 16 during the push for the DREAM Act as well as stopping the passage of H.R. 4437. It was during these campaigns that they began using art as a tool to amplify stories of other youth.
