New event series: Cactus Book Club! We’ll meet on the first Wednesday of the month, from 5:30-7:30, in person at the Club*. Every month a different bookstore, business, community organization, collective, or band will select the book & lead the discussion. This series is 18+.
Our Summer Schedule:

Book: “Come as You Are: The Surprising New Science That Will Transform Your Sex Life” by Emily Nagoski. Recommended bookseller: Tool Shed Toys

  • July 6th, 2022 – discussion led by Autumn Farm Sanctuary
Book: Why We Love Dogs, Eat Pigs, and Wear Cows by Melanie Joy. Recommended bookseller: Boswell Books, mention CC for a 10% discount.
  • August 3rd, 2022 – discussion led by the Daily Bird
Book: Undoing Drugs: The Untold Story of Harm Reduction and the Future of Addiction by Maia Szalavitz. Recommended bookseller: Lionstooth • This discussion will also include overdose prevention training and free narcan nasal spray for all attendees.
