Free Swim skillshare: Intro to soldering techniques and DIY electronics repair hosted by Kevin Dixon of Humdrum Audio.

The workshop will cover a range of topics including

• Best soldering practices:  Techniques for safely soldering components
  to printed circuit boards (PCB).
  • Surface Mount soldering:  Methods for soldering surface mount
    components to PCBs.
• Necessary materials for soldering:  Equipment necessary and not
  necessary for soldering
• Soldering for DIY kits:  Soldering as it relates to popular DIY kits
• Soldering for repairs:  Soldering unique to repair situations (Lessons
  I’ve learned)

Participants do not need to bring anything to participate, but are welcome to bring a part of a soldering project for feedback.
