MELT is a psych pop band straight out of a basement dive bar time capsule from a 90’s television commercial. Born and braised in Portland Oregon in 2014, MELT has blasted through several national tours promoting several EPs and singles. Their debut full length album is due in June 2019 on Half Shell Records followed by a North American tour in July and August.

With members that have been involved in numerous other well-known local projects and endeavors, such as The Daddyo's and Black Mold Booking, Planet What seems to be the hybridized and evolved version of all of the member's previous creative outlets. What results is a three piece band that seems to have its hands and styles in everything from zines and art shows to multi-genre live music festivals. This is a band that you could catch on a punk bill at a diy house and find them the next day performing at an art show alongside hip hop acts downtown. They're Tulsa music scene staples and are constantly working on booking tours, events, and shows, all in the name of the promotion and advancement of local music.
