Join us for an afternoon of Milwaukee Music in Film, a screening curated by Quinn Jennings.

This youth led showcase will bring a myriad of music from around Milwaukee. The screening will also be followed by an open mic.

This is an all ages, sliding scale ticketed event.

We are focused on highlighting musical elements within the art of film.

Show Lineup

Quinn Jennings

Genre: Filmmaker

Quinn Jennings is a high school student and filmmaker in the Milwaukee area. She has had a short film featured in the Milwaukee Film Festival and spends her free time playing viola and guitar.

Dara Carneol

Genre: hiphop

Dara Carneol is a student filmmaker from Milwaukee. She is a long time student of the Take 1: High School Filmmaking Course offered by Milwaukee Film, and has had her work screened at the Oriental Theater for the Milwaukee Youth Show.

Nathaniel Heuer

Genre: hiphop

Nathaniel Heuer is a musician, and artisan. He has contributed to over a dozen recording projects, including writing and production on six full length albums. In addition to his background in woodworking and design, Nathaniel has curated live music performances, and directed and collaborated on music video productions.

Costello Mylott

Genre: hiphop

Costello Mylott currently resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has made three short films, with “One” being his second. He plans on attending DePaul University in the fall for a BFA in Film and Television.

Whether performing solo or as a band, Next Paperback Hero retains the intimacy of a singer-songwriter while creating a distinctly soulful, dynamic experience.

Elayna Pasqua

Genre: hiphop

Elayna Pasqua is a singer-songwriter from the Milwaukee area. She has acted in lead roles in many student productions including “Freaky Friday” and “Puffs” and enjoys creative writing.

Heather Hass

Genre: hiphop

Heather Hass is a Midwest film director, producer, editor and animator. She is known for her inventive visual style and experimentation with video and animation. Her last music video was Aquarium, which was featured in the Milwaukee Film Festival, and won 88.9 Radio Milwaukee’s Music Video of the Year Award. When she is not making surreal music videos, Heather is a mother of 3 small children, Post Production Supervisor of Conde Nast by day, and plays trumpet in a Milwaukee band, Group of the Altos.
