Everyone deserves an opportunity to day drink in a bar while trying to win food (and other items). In that inclusive spirit, Milwaukee Record is proud to present the inaugural Meatless Raffle. The 100% vegetarian version of a Midwest mainstay will take place at Cactus Club on Sunday, March 16 from 1-4 p.m.

During that three-hour span, there will be raffles for legitimately valuable prize baskets filled with meat-free delicacies, gift cards to vegetarian- and vegan-friendly local establishments, a variety of beverages, and other great goodies. In addition to the primary raffles every 30 minutes, there will also be a few 10-liners, as well as a Prize Wheel.

Aaron Miller will DJ a “Post-Punk Brunch” playlist. Oh, and every 3 Sheeps, Cloudless, and Naturdays purchased during the event will get you a free raffle ticket. There’s NO COVER to attend this all-ages event. (Raffles, 10-liners, and spins all cost money though, duh!) A portion of proceeds from raffles, 10-liners, and Prize Wheel spins will be donated to Kinship Community Food Center.
