Breaths of saxophone and flute, and touches of cello, piano, and pedal steel are hung on the sturdy folk songs of bandleader Jess Shoman, whose vibrato and range cuts through the dreamy arrangements.

Mottos, and White Tropics. The music of Apollo Vermouth explores the sprawling and abstract, full of beautiful textures and layers. Her latest release, Forever Back There, was released in July of 2023.
