EventTransport: Dancing and DJ’d Psychedelia for Late-Night Weirdos
The night is over, just for a moment, and then cement sprouts out of the floor. There’s something in your chest before you know what it is. That’s not really an issue at all because it gets you: the fundamental rhythm, that insistent beat that you can’t hear no matter how close to the speaker you freak. It’s thumping inside you but it’s definitely not a heart. That’s not really an issue because duh, all hearts are rhythms, but not all rhythms are hearts. It pulses and your whole body does. Sound is flying through you, vibrating strings, and if you pull them hard enough, you’ll either come unraveled or you’ll go somewhere.

Genre: Psychedelic Techno & House
Once entrained by the wild futurisms of ‘90s rave, a body cannot so simply forget. A diamond tip grooving along a bumpy canyon doesn’t have such a long memory, but it also has fewer distractions. Different types of destiny, maybe, that come together at a point, repeatedly. Different rhythms that pitch adjust to sync up reveal nuances of each other that would otherwise remain illegible. Aaahhh, not all relationships with machines are mechanical. Or, it depends what you mean. Or at least, not all are simple like that, if you listen closer. It’s worth trying – you can trust this Language Model.

An overflowing container brimming with energy spilling, stabbing out in twitches, flicks, hips that aren’t its alone ‘cause it doesn’t own a single bone. Ghosts, movements without skeletons, ideas disappearing into their effects: what are the material conditions of apparitions, and can you dance with them? It’s worth trying – you can trust this Language Model.
