Join Petra Ahnert, author, beekeeper, owner of Beehive Alchemy and co-owner of Slow Burn Collection, to learn garment mending using sashiko, a traditional Japanese embroidery and stitching technique that is both decorative and functional.

Participants can bring items to mend, but fabric scraps will be available to learn and practice on.

• Patch fabric
• Sashiko and embroidery floss
• Stitch templates and temporary markers
• Iron and ironing board
• Sashiko needles and thimbles
