Cactus Club is happy to welcome Wanton Witch AKA Miriam Alegria; Malaysian born, Bangkok based DJ and producer. After self-releasing the EP Weeping Raver, she is now working on a debut album soon to be released by Stroboscopic Artefacts.  She is the co-founder of NON NON NON (known for their underground raves in Bangkok) as well as ELED (Endless light / Eternal darkness), a hardcore industrial neurological experience project curated by Wanton and Salem Rashid.

Alegria’s signature layered industrial/avant pop sound has appeared on shows for Berlin-based SYNTHESIS, Hong Kong Community Radio (HKCR) and RAREPEACE, among others.  In 2020 she was a part of Afterlife for UNSOUND Festival , a pan-asian DJ and producer showcase and online experience in an MMORPG game.  She’s currently back home in Borneo working on her first full-length album. 🙂
