Ableton Certified Trainer and sound artist Lorna Dune will kick off our last meetup of the Summer Series with a quick concluding summary of Live 11’s features, and show examples of her sound design work utilizing Simpler and Granular Synthesis with field recordings and samples.
7:50 – 8:20 – Demo #2 – “Max for Live”

Ellee will be sharing a demo of several Max for Live devices. She’ll be showcasing how to create visuals using an Oscilloscope within Ableton software, and how to control/manipulate visual parameters with instruments and samples. She will also provide a deep dive into her previous audio/visual project files.
8:25 – 8:55 – Demo #3 – “Push 3 Standalone”
demonstration by Tron Jovi
Marty, aka Tron Jovi, will demonstrate what he’s learned after spending a few weeks with the new Push 3 standalone. Will it be an exhaustive rundown on how to use it? Probably not, but he will show you what functionality he’s been able to tap after a month of working with the device.
9:00 – (time-permitting) – “Pass the Aux”
Attendees can play their audio on the sound system and share with the group.
We will have stereo 1/4″ TRS for tapping an audio interface, 3.5mm stereo headphone jack or Apple 3.5mm to lightning dongle. If you need any special adapters outside of that, please bring it.
