7:15 – 7:45 – Luxi – “How to use Ableton Live for Songwriting”
This workshop will be about using Ableton Live to improve your creative songwriting, including utilizing scenes to find more interesting song structures and creative mixing as part of the song writing process. Coming at the software from a more right-brained perspective, Milwaukee electronic artist, LUXI, has an audio engineering certificate from SAE Atlanta and numerous albums under her belt with years of songwriting experience, come hang out, bring your laptop and headphones if you feel inspired to create something.
7:50 – 8:20 – beanboi – “Bass Sound Design Techniques”
beanboi will be sharing his simplified bass sound design techniques in Ableton Live. He’ll be showing us how to make 3 popular sounds commonly used in electronic music.
8:30 – 9:30 (time permitting) “Pass the Aux”
Attendees can play their audio on the sound system and share with the group.
We will have stereo 1/4″ TRS for tapping an audio interface, 3.5mm stereo headphone jack or Apple 3.5mm to lightning dongle. If you need any special adapters outside of that, please bring it.
