Show Lineup

Godcaster

(NYC)
Genre: Jangle Pop, Noise, Psych

Godcaster is a lambent pumping heart. Hysterically keen like birds. The sextet of Judson Kolk (vox, guitar), Bruce Ebersole (guitar, bass, vox, keys), David McFaul (vox, organ, guitar), Von Kolk (vox, guitar, keys), Jan Fontana (bass) and Sam Pickard (drums, percussion) explode in song with emotional heights and devastating passions, as if the most melancholic Beach Boys ballad was played at immeasurable volume. Founded by childhood friends [Judson] Kolk and Ebersole, the band traversed a variety of monikers, sounds and members over the years until 2018 when the band re-founded with the arrival of Mcfaul, [Von] Kolk and Pickard. Fontana, who had worked closely with the band in the past, joined a couple years later, thus solidifying the band’s most refined and hard-hitting lineup to date. Godcaster has released one full length record and an EP, toured extensively, and is known for their epiphanous maximalist live shows. They will release their sophomore self-titled album in March of 2023.

Sun Silo

(Milwaukee, WI)
Genre: Art-Rock, Indie

Sun Silo is a four piece art rock group based in Kenosha Wisconsin. Combining elements of psychedelic rock, jazz, progressive rock, and dream pop, the group maintains to write and release music with an explorative spirit and lighthearted creativity. Formed in March of 2018, the group has recorded and independently released several singles and two full length albums. The band takes a hands-on approach to every aspect of their output. From writing, recording, mixing, mastering, visual artwork, and design, the group produces and arranges all of their own work.

Neptune’s Core

(Chicago)
Genre: Indie Rock

Neptune’s Core is an alternative indie rock band made of two sets of sisters who are forging their own path and making a big impact on Chicago’s thriving music scene with their captivating and unique sound. Sofie Richter (vocals/guitar), Jackie Cywinski (guitar/vocals), Kaitlin Cywinski (drums), and Hannah Richter (bass) are the members of the bad ass group. Jim DeRogits summed it up best when he said on Sound Opinions, “Their age belies the sophistication of the songwriting and instrumentation […] classic alternative era with delicate fragile quiet moments exploding into loud dynamics.”

These four talented multi-instrumentalists and passionate music fans formed the band to bring their heartfelt lyrics to life through their unique mix of rock, jazz, and classical roots combined with their love of all things punk, indie, and classic rock. They’ve self-released two albums (Can’t Have It All in 2020, Evolving in 2021) and continually captivate the crowds, performing with bands such as Dehd, Bnny, Mamalarky, and Hana Vu.

Neptune’s Core is releasing their EP Called Upon later this summer (August 25, Side Hustle Records) after the band took the time to unlock a new sound, with these songs marking a reflection of their growth as musicians and people. Their signature dynamic and tonal shifts are what keep the listener on edge. Eerie harmonies, melodic bass lines, powerful drumming, shimmery guitars, and an unapologetic sense of self are what give Neptune’s Core their own, truly unique sound.
