Payton-Carrillo has spent a lifetime honing his musical talents, which

Aries + Scorpio is an exploration of how intimate relationships can
smash and tear people apart with apparent influence of the
supernatural. Shaped by his deep-rooted African-American and Mexican
heritage, the single stylistically blends the rhythms of soul music,
brooding textures of post-punk, and a dash of that Afro-Latin
influence. Aries + Scorpio sounds like a new twist on the sounds
blaring from car stereos in Payton-Carrillo’s Silver City
neighborhood.

Summerfest’s Emerging Artist Series, and later that year was awarded Radio Milwaukee
