Sunday Cruise is an Indie/emo band from Elgin, IL. Comprised of Zoe (vox, guitar), Cassidy (bass), Levi (drums), and Camden (lead guitar). Their first self titled EP was released in 2018. In 2019 the group released a few singles including “Sunflower” followed by “Falling” and “Friday night”. After a slight hiatus the current group was formed and wrote their first full length album “Am I Pretty?” (2020). This coming of age album deals with the reality of the hardships and insecurities that many teens may face today, whether it be wanting to meet someone else’s expectations, sexuality, relationships, or the struggle with mental health and constant feelings of loneliness. Negative/Positive are a teen indie punk rock band from Milwaukee, featuring Ava Gessner, Ava Antonie, Phatanoune Douangvilay, and Roxie Zweber. The Ava’s met in 2013 at Girls Rock Milwaukee, and after spending a week writing songs like “Kiwi On My Shoe,” they embarked on what would be a seven-plus-year journey of making music. They’ve released two EPs and recorded an upcoming full-length album, ranging from Riot Grrrl queer love songs to soft rock songs about the impending doom of climate change. Never ones to underwhelm, the addition of PD and Roxie in 2020 has pushed them to create even more in a time of less possibility. Fans of The Regrettes and Beach Bunny will love Negative/Positive’s unapologetic sound.
Scarlet Demore” from Chicago IL is the combined artistic vision of best friends Alex Gonzalez, Cat Ayala, and Alaska Young. Formed in 2017, they have been combining influences from rock, punk, indie, ska, and riot grrrl to create a unique blend that’s known as Scarlet Demore.
